Apply to the Swiss Re Pit Stop: Virtual Assistant solutions in the insurance industry
Digital Catapult’s Innovation Services team are working with Swiss Re (Life Capital) on the upcoming ‘Virtual Agents in Insurance’ Pit Stop. During the Pit Stop, participants will collaborate with Swiss Re to explore the potential utility of artificial intelligence and conversational interface technologies within the insurance industry.
There should be some unique opportunities for people innovating with personal data to contribute their knowledge, skills and experience, as well as provoke some interesting conversations about challenges and opportunities that Virtual Assistants pose in regards to storing, sharing and processing of personal data. Successful proposals submitted to Swiss Re following the Pit Stop may lead to ongoing opportunities for development collaboration and trials.
Who should apply?
Digital Catapult would like to hear from small and medium-sized businesses with experience of supplying full-stack Virtual Assistant solutions, as well as innovators with expertise or interest in integrating the following capabilities into Virtual Assistant platforms:
- Machine Learning
- Artificial Intelligence
- Dynamic Program Generation (self-coding software)
- Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics
- Natural Language Processing
Furthermore, they would particularly like to hear from companies with experience of delivering client projects in professional services or other regulated industries and interested in learning about the insurance industry as a route to market.
About the event
The Pit Stop will take place Tuesday evening 21 February from 6:00 pm and all day Wednesday 22 February.
Participation is via application only and the closing date for applications is Friday 27 January 2017.
